I would like to be able to use lichess' opening explorer with a set of games I have imported into a study from a PGN. I believe there's not such feature, but I'd be happy to be wrong.

If such feature does not exist and you agree this is an interesting one to add, I'd be glad to do the PR myself, but I might need some help, as I have never contributed to lichess before, and I am not familiar with the tech stack used.

Given how the opening explorer works, this seems a bit difficult 🤔

I guess for a small number of games, it could just simulate it locally instead of using the opening explorer server. Not sure if this is worth it though.

What do you mean by simulating it locally? Right now, I must open another application (like chessx) to go through the opening tree of an opponent I'm preparing against to play on an OTB tournament. It would be great if I can do that in lichess.
