My suggestion was for them to enable Move Confirmation for their time control, then configure the time that they have to wait before they can press the Yes button.
Instead of the ✔️you would get a counter with the number of seconds until you can click. And when it gets to 0, it changes back to ✔️ and you can submit the move. Probably a setting for a minimum clock time remaining for the feature to work is also a good idea.
Given the sensitive nature of changing the way people play (as well as the obfuscation of the code), it's difficult to implement this in LiChess Tools.
