Currently the disconnection countdown seems to start even if it's the opponent's turn.
It doesn't seem fair and useful, since disconnecting while it's not your turn doesn't have a negative impact on the game.
Also, the sequence of (player makes a move) -> (claims victory seconds later) can look like they were able to claim victory after only a few seconds of disconnection (in particular, the disconnected player might think so when he comes back online and sees the result).
This sucks. I used to be able to multitask a bit on the phone, now I guess I only have a few seconds to do anything else between moves? I play 5+5 blitz and I'm winning, ahead on time, and waiting for the guy to move. I may peek over to something else for a few seconds. I just did it and lost a game because I "left" even though I had 2:35 left and was about 4 moves from m8
Yikes!
Love Lichess but sometimes trying to improve on something messes it up for more than who it helps.

To fix it, the timeout should only start at the beginning of one's turn.
