Feature Request

Description of request and what problem are you looking to solve?

Allow symlinks and symlink + copy so users can keep seeding.

Other Information

Hardlinks can't be used across HDDs so people using UNRAID, network shares, etc. can't use hardlinks.

Would love to see symlinks added as well.

"Use Hardlinks instead of Copy" should be disabled by default. The reason is because the contents of the files are being altered by retagging, which will corrupt the files as far as bittorrent is concerned.

This would be an awesome adition; asi download a lot of music the fact that this feature is mmissing makes me have to constantly watch my ratio on some private tracker; sometime i have to disabled those from lidarr while I have to seed by another way. All this kind of break my chain of automation and the purpose of lidarr i think.
Even tho; thx a lot for all the good work !
