The api's should be documented. Much of the backend is stable (won't change) due to Sublime Text compatibility so someone with experience working with Sublime Text plugins should have a good idea of what the api accomplishes and be able to document the expectations.

This issue is too generic, lets file specific issue numbers where the documentation is lacking (community help in discovering such areas appreciated)
