Email can have the User-Agent header field, that tells where they were sent from.

Eg:

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:78.0) Gecko/20100101
 Thunderbird/78.13.0

Why is it useful? What would you put into this header?

Why is it useful?

For a receiver having display issues to identify the MUA emmitting the faulty message. Very userfull to diagnose inter-operability issues.

What would you put into this header?

User-Agent: browser/version OpenPaaS-Inbox/1.9.0-rc4
