In older versions of Deepin, a different cursor is used for the "cursor waiting".
Since version 15.6, another design (more rustic and ugly) has been adopted; and not seem to me to be intentional.
Adopt the old cursor. Or, work on a better option (the current wait cursor is ugly).

I don't get why it's not universally orb filling with water - it's really cool
😄 ... are you referring to the deepin clone application which has the orb with the blue liquid filling up ?
