Dolphin context menu not working on primary screen [Ubuntu 14.04, cinnamon 2.8.7, Dolphin 4.13.3]

Hi,

I have the strange problem, that the context menu in Dolphin is only working on screens other than the primary one (have three in total).
Also for some ohter apps (e.g. Okular) it is not working, but it is for Nemo, Document Viewer or Firefox.

System: Ubuntu 14.04, Cinnamon 2.8.7, Dolphin 4.13.3

Any ideas?

mint requires extra dependencies for kde apps if kde desktop is not fully installed.

Issues with KDE apps
If you're experiencing issues with KDE apps (Okular, Gwenview, KStars..etc) run the following command:

apt install kdelibs-bin kdelibs5-data kdelibs5-plugins

Thank your for the reply. I checked and the above listed dependencies are already met.

As mentioned above, I experience the strange behaviour that the context menu is working on screens 2+3 but not on screen 1. If dependencies were missing, shouldn't it be failing on all screens?

The issue stays the same, at least for Cinnamon 4.0.10. In the meantime I made a new install on a new drive:

System: Mint 19.01, Cinnamon 4.0.10, Dolphin 17.12.3
