Desktop icons and trash are missing partly or completely most of the time.

Desktop icons and trash are missing partly or completely most of the time while using and external monitor. The external monitor is set as Primary Display.

To fix this, I have to click "Show desktop icons on primary monitor only" and disable and re enable "Trash ON" after every boot.

I didn't find this issue earlier. It may be related.

It's not an issue in Cinnamon 4.2.4. It's an old issue. It was for Linux Mint 18.1 Serena
