Desktop icons and trash are missing partly or completely most of the time while using and external monitor. The external monitor is set as Primary Display.
To fix this, I have to click "Show desktop icons on primary monitor only" and disable and re enable "Trash ON" after every boot.
System: Host: U47VC Kernel: 4.4.0-53-generic x86_64 (64 bit gcc: 5.4.0)
Desktop: Cinnamon 3.2.6 (Gtk 3.18.9-1ubuntu3.1) dm: mdm Distro: Linux Mint 18.1 Serena
