I think a lot are having problems with the top left hot corner because that is where alot of windows open, don,t no why they don’t open in the middle.
When they go to move the window the mouse hits the hot corner accidentally.
In Gnome Shell this made sense to have it in the top left corner because the dock with all the launchers where right there on the left.
Now there is no dock, it is now a windows, and workspace switcher or overview.
And since the workspaces is on the right it makes since the hot corner should be in the bottom right.
This way the workspaces is right there above the mouse.
This way you do not have to go all the way across the screen to pick a workspace.
If this is implemented the panel workspaces should be moved to the left in front of the mintupdate icon.
By doing this it should help in not accidentally activating the overview since the clock will be there and is not clicked on as often and the clock is also a bigger button to click.
Then as the workspaces are added on the panel they won’t move all the other icons and are closer to the windowsList.
This should help productivity.
This is just a ideal I wonted to run by you.

Thanks sprintcowboy,

I appreciate the way you described the idea but I'm not convinced with the reasons you gave. What might happen in the future though is that the location of the hot corner might be configurable.

In 1.1.3 it will be possible to turn the hot corner off. In future releases users might be able to specify in which corner of the screen they want it to be.

I'm closing the issue for now.

Being configurable is actually better since everybody wants something different.
Look forward to be able to configure the hot corner in the future.
Until then it is still usable, am just glad you kept the overview with hot corner.
Thanks
PS Man I miss compiz:(.
