Same problem with MSGE Window List : some applications don't appear in Window List and, it's new, nor in systray.
Gmusicbrowser appears first time it launched, but when closed (in fact close=reduce in systray) it disappear and never appear again.

Hi Major,

Any other apps missing in the window list? The more examples the better (we might find they have something in common).

I will try Cinnamon more to find other app, but take a look on this Window List bug : https://bugs.launchpad.net/linuxmint/+bug/892716

I guess this bug is a gtk2-app displaying bug which affect only few apps.

Hi Clem,

I made some try with apps knowed (by me) for icons problems : Skype and JDownloader.
No problem in Cinnamon : all appear in systray.

I went in gmusicbrowser settings, putting "off" "icon in the systray", and after "on". The systray icon now appears !
BUT when I maximize gmb from the systray, it doesn't appear no more in Window List.
Same problem with Mint12 Window list.

All those changes create a new problem : (Mint) menu doesn't work anymore. It opens with a clic but mouse over nor mouse clic haven't any effect.
I guess it's a JDownloader/Java incompatibility. Since I launch JDownloader, a new window is on window list : "JavaEmbeddedFrame".
Should I open a new issue ?

The menu bug is known and fixed. It will be part of Cinnamon 1.1.2.

I can't find another app.
I open a bug to gmusicbrowser too (http://forum.gmusicbrowser.org/index.php?topic=529.0 )

Closing this issue as it seems related to the app itself.
