Dual Monitor Issue #32
Comments
J-a-x: I think you meant the 2nd sentence to say "To get to the RIGHT monitor..." I have the same problem. I can only go from left to right if the pointer is within the bottom 24 pixels of the screen. I didn't even find that until I read your issue. |
yes, i can confirm this issue. |
Yes, I have the same problem. Well, Cinnamon looks promising. Same thing, I did not know how to get to the right side monitor until I read J-a-x bottom screen trick. |
I have the same problem. |
Also experiencing this issue. |
OK, confirmed and reproducible here. |
Note: It seems the problem is to go from the main monitor to the second one (irrelevant of which one is left/right). Also, if the monitors are placed on top of each others (top/bottom as opposed to left/right), the issue doesn't occur. |
Note: Tested with Gnome Shell --> no issue there. |
Identified the cause of the issue. This will be fixed in 1.1.3. |

The mouse pointer stops at the far-right boundary of the left monitor, when trying to move from the left monitor to the right monitor. To get to the right monitor, the pointer must be brought down to the bottom of the screen and dragged to the right, along the task bar. It seems to work fine when going from the right monitor to the left monitor.
