Bug description

If you move some folders to the upper right corner, they will overlap. Other corners are fine. You should move from the very edge.

2024-05-04-13-26-21.mp4

Steps to reproduce

  1. Create multiple folders
  2. Move them to the outermost point of the upper right corner
  3. Select folders
  4. Pull the cursor up to the right.

Expected behavior

Folders should be sorted according to the rules and not overlap each other

[off-topic] Interesting!

I didn't know you could select multiple files by enclosing them as a group with a mouse operation!!!

This is a very useful feature - previously unknown to me.

Huh?? There's no way... it shows you have contributed to the Nemo repository. Did you really not know you could drag and drop multiple files with the mouse? That feature has been a thing for decades!

It is quite true - I really did not know about the selection thing! ;-(
Can I put the blame on the lack of documentation?
I've made do for years with keyboard (Shift or Ctrl) + mouse to select multiple icons for many years.
BTW I can't reproduce the bug in LMDE6 - but I have the hot corner thing disabled.
Have you tried to reproduce this bug in a fresh (untouched) version of Mint/LMDE?
