Shall Liquibase Neo4j bump its JDK (and JRE) requirement to 11?

Feel free to detail your opinion by commenting on this issue.
Would moving to JRE 11+ for your Liquibase installation be an issue for you?

Context

Liquibase core currently has a JDK 8 baseline and will not revisit this requirement for the time being, as far as I understand.

Bumping the requirement to JDK 11 would allow Liquibase Neo4j to:

  • benefit from newer Java features
  • pull in the Cypher DSL parser module, thus moving away from brittle Cypher string manipulation

That being said, changing this requirement would delay the potential merge of the Neo4j extension into the main Liquibase repository.
