I should mention, I've found what feels like a work-around through rendering nothing over the top of any target elements no longer required. |

I'm using lit-html to handle the rendering of HTML templates for a bunch of views, with my own router and view engine. Lit-html has been great for this purpose, efficiently updates content with a minimum of expense, including in the case of nested views.
However I'm having a problem figuring out how to remove nested views when navigating from "main/sub" to "main" for example.
Take the following example:
If I then try to render the primary view again without the sub-view, the sub-view remains in place.
I figure this is an intentional feature, although it's giving me a headache. Is there a way to remove any nested rendered content within a TemplateResult?
