#396 again. Also related to #403.

The attendee list UI is still hard to use. This is preventing people from being able to register for events online because they get so frustrated.

This interface is a dramatic simplification of the one we have now. Just a list of items and a dropdown to select the attendee to assign each item to. This is more or less the same way Amazon does multiple address shipping (see screenshot at bottom of ticket).

A few notes:

  • These items could update async using javascript and what I think is an existing endpoint. They could also just submit as a form when the "NEXT" button is pushed. If we implement async, it would be great to have a space to the right of the trash can to display a gray spinner and then a green checkmark.
  • Having trash cans work async would make more sense if the dropdown also worked async. Otherwise maybe we should omit them.
  • Naomi thinks there should also be a confirmation screen listing the attendees and their items under them. I'm not sure whether or not that's necessary, but I'm down with it.
  • I've only listed one line of item name in the screenshot, but you'll probably need two lines. Item name and Item Option name.
