This code relies quite heavily on the arbitrary null model GenLouvain and as far as I am aware there is no Python equivalent. We have been thinking about porting GenLouvain to Python for a while and this may happen at some point in the not too distant future. However, until then this code sadly remains Matlab/Octave only.

Looking forward to it @LJeub . Please let me know if there is a clear-cut way that I might be able to help accelerate that process. Porting genlouvain.m over doesn't look too bad, but combined with the subroutines seems like a headache...

Cheers,
@dPys
