It would be nice and very useful to support etherbone core from ohwr repository (http://www.ohwr.org/projects/etherbone-core).
By doing this, "real " testing could be done easily and scripts could be set up for executing them automatically.

One possibility would be to support IPBus (http://www.ohwr.org/projects/ipbus)
