User Agent: ${navigator.userAgent}

Flags:

Measure Full Render Time - full render time measurement (recalc style/layout/paint/composition/etc).

Preserve State - preserves internal state when moving DOM nodes.

DOM Recycling - DOM recycling is enabled, instead of creating new DOM nodes
on each update, it reuses them.

sCU Optimization -
shouldComponentUpdate
optimization is enabled.

Spec Tests - Internal specification tests.

Notes:

Time is measured in microseconds.

JS Init Time is hugely depends on scripts downloading time, run benchmark multiple times to make sure
that scripts are available in a browser cache.

Don't use Overall Tests Time row to make any conclusions, like library X is N times faster than
library Y. This row is used by library developers to easily check if there is some regression.

When sCU Optimization is disabled,
no_change
test cases will show pure
render/diff overhead.

Implementations that doesn't Preserve State when updating children can get a way much better results
than those who preserve state in some test cases when Measure Full Render Time is enabled because they
don't trigger long-running recalc style/layout. But most of the time it isn't important because
implementations that doesn't properly rearrange nodes will be slower in other important use cases.

Implementations with some form of DOM recycling will have a way much better results in
render

use cases. For example, Imba library algorithm for diffing is hugely depends on this behavior, so it is
hard to properly benchmark
render
and
insert
test cases. Implementations with
this form of DOM recycling are actually taking exactly the same DOM nodes from pool, so they don't need to
update anything, and they just insert prerendered nodes.

Tests:

JS Init Time - js initialization time.

First Render Time - time to execute
table/[100,4]/render
for the first time, it will
be executed before any spec/scu/recycling tests, so it may be considered as a "cold" run.

table/[100,4]/render
- render table with 100 rows and 1+4 columns.

table/[100,4]/removeAll
- remove all rows from a table with 100 rows and 1+4 columns.

table/[100,4]/sort/0
- sort rows in alphabetic order by first column.

table/[100,4]/filter/32
- remove each 32th row.

table/[100,4]/activate/32
- activate each 32th row (adds "active" class to each activated row).

anim/100/32
- update style in each 32th div.

tree/[50,10]/render
- render tree with 50 top-level nodes with 10 nodes in each top-level node.

tree/[50,10]/removeAll
- remove all top-level nodes.

tree/[50,10]/[reverse]
- reverse all top-level nodes.

tree/[50,10]/[insertFirst(1)]
- insert one top-level node at the beginning.

tree/[50,10]/[insertLast(1)]
- insert one top-level node at the end.

tree/[50,10]/[removeFirst(1)]
- remove one top-level node at the beginning.

tree/[50,10]/[removeLast(1)]
- remove one top-level node at the end.

tree/[50,10]/[moveFromEndToStart(1)]
- move one top-level node from the end to the beginning.

tree/[50,10]/[moveFromStartToEnd(1)]
- move one top-level node from the beginning to the end.

tree/[50,10]/[*_worst_case]
- special test cases that should trigger worst case scenarios for
children reconciliation algorithms in different libraries.

tree/[10,10,10,10]/no_change
- trigger update without any changes.
