Opentelemetry integration

Is there any plan for an integration with Opentelemetry
Opentelemetry just release the official support for “Logs”
https://github.com/open-telemetry/opentelemetry-cpp/releases/tag/v1.11.0
Is there any plan to create an integration with it ?
A new Appender would be a correct way of integration ?

I have no plans for this. Yes, a new Appender subclass would the right way to implement log4cplus → OpenTelemetry bridge.
