Pasting in Document Mode creates new blocks

What happened?

Hi, when I’m in document mode and paste a document with multiple paragraphs and line breaks, new blocks are created.

Reproduce the Bug

1. Enter document mode (t d)
2. Paste content with multiple line breaks
3. Exit document mode

Expected Behavior

I was expecting to see the pasted text in the same block, as if I was writing them in document mode.
