I think the name could not be static if using dynamic provisioning, since the PV object was created by Kubernetes when CreateVolume call performs in CSI plugin. |

I do also have this problem, can we get a reply if this can be improved in longhorn or do we require to request this feature to other parties (kubernetes, csi spec, etc) and can/t this be done with annotations or labels? |

Hello. Can I add some parameters to the StorageClass or PVC to force Longhorn PersistentVolume and Volume to be created with a static name instead of pvc-{uuid}?
First, it will help me in GitOps. Secondly, in case of problems, I can easily find the desired volume.. for example, if I lose the K8s cluster and I only have data in the partitions. Thirdly, it just saves me from manually creating volumes in Longhorn.
