Problem with setting system

(using local models via ollama)

I set the system prompt, then it acts like it doesn't see user messages and just repeats what's in the system.
I unset the system prompt, no matter what I write it tries to explain the concept of "system" to me, or offer code assistance.

Software bugs with AI are interesting - it's doing the opposite of what I expect and for some reason it's funny.

has to do with enabling/disabling reference note, so I'm guessing there's a logic problem with the note/system/user conditions

@Madd0g Check your template format. this may vary per model and if you bake it into the modelfile it may work better from within BMO. (Does for me)
