I use Hazel, which keeps a com.noodlesoft.Hazel.plist file in ~/Library/Preferences. I used to use Mackup to backup my settings to a folder in Google Drive.
Today, I decided to uninstall both Google Drive and mackup. So I ran mackup uninstall, then brew uninstall mackup.
And yet, every time I change something in Hazel, the plist file in ~/Library/Preferences is first MOVED from ~/Library/Preferences to ~/Google Drive/Mackup/LibraryPreferences/ and then keeps updating as I changed settings in Hazel.
I checked. There's no symlink left.
What is this? @lra please explain what mackup is doing to my workplace, and how can I stop this?!

Make sure there is no symlink left, mackup uninstall should have removed any symlink it's aware of: ls -al ~/Library/Preferences
If there is no symlink left, then Hazel is actually moving the files, Mackup can't possibly move those files, so there is no fix here.
If this is the case, I suggest bringing the problem to the Hazel maintainers.
If they can't fix the issue, I can remove Hazel from the list of supported applications.
