Expected behavior

Should list directories

Actual behavior

cannot access '.': Permission denied (os error 13)

accessing any root dir shows me permission error but this works fine if I use this command with sudo. but using sudo every time is annoying just to list so is there any solution to that?

I've started getting that issue all of a sudden when I try to ls my .ssh directory. The issue does not occur on my macbook, however it does occur under wsl for me. Does this issue occur in 0.17?

Also, I'm wondering what exactly makes ls not have this problem.

@just-chillin hmm I was using the snap package and that was outdated so ...
version 0.18.0 works fine.
