This is an implementation detail for Luau's new non-strict mode. A checked function is a function that is guaranteed to cause a runtime error if called with incorrect types (e.g. builtins like The keyword is only accessible within definition files, which are themselves an unspecified implementation detail at the moment. We've discussed making the keyword available to user code, but we're not there yet. |
