ClassTypeVar "does not have an indexer" error

Passing a variable of a type defined as ClassTypeVar into pairs() will trigger an error: "TYPE does not have and indexer"
Tracking the error inside Unifier::tryUnifyWithClass() seems that iis triggered f the table have and indexer:

{
    ok = false;
    std::string msg = "Class " + superClass->name + " does not have an indexer";
    reportError(TypeError{location, GenericError{msg}});
}

Is that correct?
By the way, some lines before there is a TODO stating;
* TODO: What does it mean for the table to have an indexer? (probably failure?)

I have changed the type into a Sealed TableTypeVar with a name and is working fine
