database session driver not working

I was thinking I could set the session in the development env to database and set it up like how its suppose to, then my sessions stopped working.. I tried setting it back to the default File driver and still not working.

finally i tried to use rhc command to set it manually with the following command rhc set-env SESSION_DRIVER=file -namespace -myapp and it works again. phew I though I was in trouble.
