Github Wikis (with editing restricted to collaborators) is another alternative, but you lose labels i guess.

Hah! Came here to say the same thing—but like any good FOSS community member, had to make sure someone else hadn't already reported the same problem first.

I'm still experiencing this problem; can we get this issue reopened? ;)
