Our stable Lutris Wine 5.7 build has been updated and is now available as lutris-5.7-8. Fshack build is unfortunately going to be much harder to rebase due to some incompatibilities with newer winevulkan, so it's not going to receive an update this time, but it might happen later.
What's new (compared to Lutris-5.7-6)

  1. Added a fix for an issue with Wow64Transition patchset from staging, which could manifest in crashes in certain games (like Warhammer 40K: Fire Warrior with a dinput8.dll fix from PCGamingWiki).
  2. Added some missing patches to our backport of Winevulkan improvements from newer versions of Wine. This might fix some of the reported issues with our new VKD3D option that is now combined with DXVK.
  3. Added a fix for a bug that made some Unity games crash on launch.

IMPORTANT: Because Lutris 0.5.7.1 deprecated the old VKD3D option, make sure to update to this new build if you want to keep playing your Direct3D 12 games!

Lutris Wine 5.7

New lutris-5.7 and lutris-fshack-5.7 wine builds are now available!
What's new:

  • Based on Wine Staging 5.7 with various patches from TKG.
  • Added a fix for crashes in Star Citizen. I don't have the game myself and would really appreciate if somebody could test it and confirm that it works!
  • Backported a fix for wineserver crashes in many games.

Note: 5.7 is a pretty broken release and it's possible we didn't workaround all of the regressions in our builds. I highly suggest that you use 5.7 only for testing purposes or if there's a game that doesn't work on older versions

You can download the builds either from Lutris or by clicking on attached files.
It must be mentioned that these builds couldn't be made without TKG's PKGBUILDS and the immense amount of work he puts to backport stuff from Proton, workaround various regressions and improve Wine in many other ways.
