Count me in as part of the audience. I really like the design of a stable basic (though well featured) core, with modules for more specific game concepts. Seems like this will help keep the engine streamlined and focused, without adding bloat that a large portion of games wouldn't even use. Excited to see what's coming up!

This was a wonderfully written post! Everytime I read something you write I'm astounded at the wisdom(?)/thought that goes into it.

Count me in as part of the audience. It's been a while since I used Luxe, but I know even back then it was a real pleasure to work with.
