lxqt metapackage on Lubuntu 14.04: can't login

Not exactly the same as #79

After installing the daily ppa (https://launchpad.net/~lubuntu-dev/+archive/lubuntu-daily) and the lxqt metapackage and doing a couple of apt-get update/upgrade and a reboot, when I try to login in a lxqt desktop session, I'm just returned to the login screen. I can login to the regular Lubuntu or Openbox session.

Can you try updating? Do you still get any issues?

Hi, yes, I update/dist-upgrade several times a day and reboot a couple of times. I've written in more detail in a thread at ubuntuforums.org

Could you :

• be sure to install both lxqt-session and lxsession
• be sure to install lxqt-metapackage
• be sure to update today (I made some fix yesterday)
• if it doesn't work, could you log in an openbox session and run lxqt-session and lxqt-panel in a terminal and post the output ?

It worked!

• I uninstalled the daily-ppa and cleaned up (apt-get purge) all the previous stuff.
• Then I reinstalled the ppa, ran update/upgrade a couple of times.
• Installed lxqt-session (last time I didn't; I went straight for lxqt-metapackage).
• Then tried to install lxsession but was told I already had the latest (because my Lubuntu 14.04 is fully updated and that is what I'm wanting to run LXQt session desktop from)
• Installed lxqt-metapackage (I kept a record of screen output in case of problems; there were some errors)
• Ran update/upgrade again
• Rebooted and now posting this from LXQt desktop session.
