This issue existed in the ops-tracker repo for a long time. Please see that old issue for any additional information. Moving it here, where it is now more appropriate.

From the original issue:

We don't have any good way of monitoring mlab-ns metrics. We should build a Prometheus exporter into mlab-ns at URL like: https://mlab-ns.appspot.com/metrics.

One thing it could export, among others, is experiment status. This could then be checked against the Prometheus metrics for those same experiments, giving us something of an end-to-end check.
