The project could make use of a README file for documenting compilation instructions. Here are some quick notes for anyone who wants to compile the project themselves:
Visual Studio 2013 Express (or other edition of 2013) required
WMPLib reference is broken/disabled by default and needs to be activated using the Project -> Add Reference menu.
WMPLib is part of the Windows Media Player component from the COM category on the Add Reference dialog.
If all else fails, try using the Tools -> Choose Toolbox Items dialog to add Windows Media Player component to the project.

I was searching for a Windows desktop alarm clock that allowed me to play a song of my choice, and this was the first one I was able to actually get working, so good work. It could use some GUI improvements and possibly a way to save the song choice, but it fits my needs. 👍
