The project could make use of a README file for documenting compilation instructions. Here are some quick notes for anyone who wants to compile the project themselves:

  1. Visual Studio 2013 Express (or other edition of 2013) required
  2. WMPLib reference is broken/disabled by default and needs to be activated using the Project -> Add Reference menu.
  3. WMPLib is part of the Windows Media Player component from the COM category on the Add Reference dialog.
  4. If all else fails, try using the Tools -> Choose Toolbox Items dialog to add Windows Media Player component to the project.

I was searching for a Windows desktop alarm clock that allowed me to play a song of my choice, and this was the first one I was able to actually get working, so good work. It could use some GUI improvements and possibly a way to save the song choice, but it fits my needs. 👍
