The error text in https-post-form has Chinese in it, which will cause it to fail to run #41

example:

hydra -L "D:\Downloads\temp\username.txt" -P "D:\Downloads\temp\1.txt" -I -V -f -s 888 einskang.top https-post-form "/login:username=^USER^&password=^PASS^:F=错误"

When I try to run the above command, the command line gives me an error,

Hydra (https://github.com/vanhauser-thc/thc-hydra) starting at 2022-07-20 22:52:54
[ERROR] optional parameter must start with a '/' slash!

If there is no Chinese in the command, it can run normally

Can anyone give me some advice?

Hello,

Do you have the same error if you run this same command in a Linux environment ?

Could you rather post this bug in the hydra github repo https://github.com/vanhauser-thc/thc-hydra

Cheers.

I haven't tried it in the linux system environment, because I only have a windows system computer, but I found a result that someone else ran on the linux system, the URL is http://www.4k8k.xyz/article/weixin_43039349/89323846, judging from the content of the article, running commands with Chinese characters in the linux system environment will not cause errors, but the author also reminds not to include Chinese characters in commands as much as possible, which may cause error due to encoding.
