Tuna Pasta Bake

Yum!

Ingredients

• 8 oz Short cut macaroni
• 1 oz Butter
• 1 oz Flour
• 2 oz Grated cheese, plus extra for topping
• 3/4 pint Milk
• 1.5 cans Tuna

Method

1. Cook macaroni
2. Melt butter and sauté onion for approximately 5 minutes until golden
3. Stir in flour and cook while stirring for 1-2 minutes
4. Add hot milk, salt and pepper slowly while stirring, a little at a time
5. Cook for 2 minutes while simmering
6. Take off light and add in cheese, tuna and macaroni
7. Turn into well buttered casserole and sprinkle with extra cheese
8. Bake for 15-20 minutes 190C 400 F until brown and bubbly OR put under grill until brown and crunchy

Notes

• Add nutmeg, mustard and worcestershire sauce
