A page should be added to the wiki about the third-party dependencies that are treated as special cases by Magma, i.e. the ones included in https://github.com/magma/magma/tree/master/third_party. The docs may include sections like:

  • Why are these dependencies treated as special cases?
  • How are they built?
  • How are the builds published?

The following may be helpful: magma-build-3rd-party.yml, magma-build-openvswitch.yml, aioeventlet fork

This is now documented at https://github.com/magma/magma/wiki/Third-Party-Dependencies
