Problem

Work items for Release 1.9 is listed in #15254. This proposals is track subtask as part of #15254 .

The proposal is targeted to cover backporting activities from master to 1.9 release.

Proposed Work Items

Following are the items related to the activity:

  • Collecting the PR information which needs to be ported
  • Porting the fix as per the approvals
  • Generating the intermediate builds to run the sanity/release specific tests.

Efforts

Effort will be there till 1.9 is released and duration is expected for 4 months. Expected cost is around $2K.
