Many people use a date metadata field in their notes in order to manually define the date of a given note. This is often an alternative to encoding the date in the note title. So for example, 20230514 My note could instead be just My note with metadata at the top like:
date: 2023-05-14
---
Is it possible to sort the file viewer by this field, rather than the system fields for "date created" and "date modified"? This would be a nice way to give more control over sorting by dates.
