if the mapping between native language and english is in different file, will be very easy to include other languages.
For example if there is mapping files, malayalam-map.js, tamil-map.js, telugu-map.js, and any language mapping we can use this lib easily. Just need a data attribute in script tag
like . - <script src="https://rawgit.com/bunchaeffinamateurs/thengascript/dev/thengascript.js" data-lang="otherLanguage"></script>

Looks like they're working towards that with Swadeshi Scripts.

Still thinking of a neat way to collect the inputs. The only languages we know are Malayalam, Tamil, a very primitive understanding of Kannada and Telugu words. We would need the help of people from all over India to make this one a reality.

The easiest way for us is to unroll out a Google Doc to get the inputs, but a bespoke website that collects the keywords via a form is also in the back of our mind. Do you guys have better ideas on this?

@prathyvsh is google doc really required? i think it just need a well structured documentation on this github page itself (or the website as you suggested), people can directly raise pull requests (this will easily workout if language mapping is in different files as I said earlier) on another branch for any language, but we can make a condition like, at-least 5 people for a particular language need to allow to merge to master

@manu-codes I'm worried about the prospects of finding a programmer (assuming that mostly programmers are the ones who know how to do a PR) out there well versed in languages like lets say Bodo or Santali. I think there ought to be a way for the public in order to help contribute the keywords in such languages.

@hpnrt Hey Ramjit,

I had been thinking the other day on how I would reach out to the people speaking Santali and your comment was a total stunner. Thank you so much for the help extended. Right now, I'm working on the compiler for a more extensive coverage of the language: https://github.com/bunchaeffinamateurs/es2019-lexicon and an IDE to support programming in Indian languages. I will definitely reach out to you once the core technology is ready. Thanks again!
