I think a nice feature would be an option to use a marker to show the centre coordinate when a user navigates to the map using a link from the "share" function.
Example user scenario: I want to show my friends where to meet to play soccer in Enköping, so I press "share" and send this link: Mälardalskartan. Now there might be confusion about which soccer field to meet at.
In this case, and other situations where the point of interest is not supplied in a layer with preset symbols, a generic marker could help indicate where the recipient should be looking.
Good job on the great web map library!

I intend to start development of such a feature now. My idea is to make it possible to share a position in two ways. If the user identify and there is no feature, the coordinates for the click will be shown in an overlay with an option to share. The position will be given a marker when shared. The other way is to share a feature, for a example a school, present in the map. When identified there will be an option to share. Would this solve your request?
