Development

To run tests from the command line:

xcodebuild test -workspace BoatTracker.xcworkspace -scheme BoatTracker -destination 'platform=iOS Simulator,name=iPhone 13 mini,OS=17.0.1'

Formatting

brew install swift-format

To format all files in the current directory recursively:

swift-format format --configuration swift-format.json -i -r .

To format the file currently open in XCode using a keyboard shortcut, see https://stackoverflow.com/a/73511410. The sample AppleScript is in xcode-swift-format.scpt. Follow the instructions, then hit the keyboard shortcut you defined in System Settings to format the current file.

Releasing

1. Update the version number. It appears that the App Store does not allow version number reuse.
2. Every commit to the master branch triggers a GitHub Actions job that uses Fastlane to publish a new version to the App Store.
