No audio, pausing stream, "error trying to load 3 of [0,1],level 4" #45
Comments
Hi @adamscybot could you reproduce this issue with hls_debug=true, and also tell me with which release this issue is happening ? |
Here is an instance where the stream didnt load at all (black screen, no audio):
...etc |
The commit we are using is df4cd19 |
I would advise you to check with tagged release, as flashls/master has not be fully tested. also if it is live playlist, you might try to turn hls_live_flushurlcache=true |
Hi mangui. Are the example pages the latest tagged release or head? I will try and catch the audio/stuttering bug and pay closer attention to network. |
Audio issue:
Continues to play video and loading playlists fine. There are no errors as such, it just recognises the audio track as audio1 instead of TS/AAC. Everytime this happens, no audio plays. However, it only happens some of the time. I suspect you may need a stream to identify this issue? |
example pages are latest tagged release |
Thanks. See above for audio issue log output. Havent seen the stuttering again, but will post if I do. Let me know if you need stream access. |
yes, I would need access to your stream. |
Hi mangui. The stream is a little sensitive, could I have your email to send over the stream link? |
you can send stream URL to tvstreambox at gmail dot com |
just curious, have you sent anything yet on this email address ? |
HI mangui. We may have found the fix, I will get my colleague to detail this soon. |
Hi, Our previous master playlist, which worked with your plugin about 9 months ago was:
However with latest builds it caused the issue above, to fix this we changed it to (Ignore the resolution addon):
As you can see dropping the alternate audio descriptor solved it. However afaik the first method should still be valid. |
do you have a sample playlist so that I could look into it ? |
can you still repro with latest release ? |
ping @adamscybot, plz recheck with 0.3.3 before I close the ticket ... |
closing, plz reopen if still repro |
HI Mangui,
Our streams used to work but upon updated the player we now experience various issues:
Around the time the juttering starts the console exhibits strange behaviour:
The playing_buffering and playing states switch within miliseconds of each other. Its strange, as sometimes it does work for long periods. The audio track when it does work for long periods is recognised as TS/AAC (0) (or something similar? I cant remember) instead of just audio1.
I can get you access to our stream -- but it will require a lot of trial and error to actually see the problem. Sometimes it just works -- its very temperamental (at the moment, its working).
