I installed gnome-software so I can open snap:// links which needs packagekit.service which fails to start with:
Failed to initialize alpm: using /etc/PackageKit/alpm.d/pacman.conf: /etc/PackageKit/alpm.d/pacman.conf:2/etc/pacman.conf:3unrecognised directive 'SyncFirst'
It's probably because upstream pacman does not support SyncFirst anymore.
There's a file 0001-Fix-SyncFirst-crash.patch here in the repo which probably fixed this problem at some point in time but it stopped working.
Commenting SyncFirst in /etc/pacman.conf lets packagekit start but gnome-software still fails to open snap:// links, this time without any error message. Manjaro wants to support snap packages so somebody should probably check that out.
