Manjaro still uses a 1000 Hz tick, whereas Arch recently went back to 300 Hz:

Will Manjaro be keeping 1000 Hz or stay in line with Arch?

Any ideas why they went back to 300Hz?

(I wish they would include some sort of changelog to the package commits...)

I don't know, but I guess some server or virtual machine related applications might cause problems with 1000 Hz. Just a guess.
