It is allowed only to change .lock file (which contains no data, and just manages access to the index)
However on checking rt index it also re-save .ram and .meta, which is not appropriate by bunch of reasons:
If index is read-only (i.e., access rights to the files is ro, or even filesystem is ro by nature, say, placed on cd/dvd, it is NOT alowed and even NOT possible to change any files.
If I want just to check an index - I namely want just to check it, NOT rewrite any files
(since moving to json sph/meta) - binary meta got rewritten by json variant. That is - file not just overwritten, but made unusable by searchd build which can't yet work with json headers.
