Describe the bug
This is likely to be the caused by calling tight_layout incorrectly.

To Reproduce
Open a colorfill or surface plot.

and the error This figure includes Axes that are not compatible with tight_layout, so results might be incorrect.

Expected behavior
Colorbar spaced appropriately to the right for any window size.

Platform/Version (please complete the following information):

  • OS: all
  • Mantid Version nightly 15th Jan Manual testing

The fix for this may also fix #34974
