Federico M Pouzols (2015-01-26T12:44:33):
I was checking Load/Save*Nexus tickets and I came across these ones.

I think that this ticket (and its siblings, http://trac.mantidproject.org/mantid/ticket/8603-http://trac.mantidproject.org/mantid/ticket/8606) has become duplicate. In a recent ticket several improvements were made to NexusFileIO, including the capability to save
float, uint, long64, size_t, bool, V3D, see http://trac.mantidproject.org/mantid/ticket/8799#comment:5.

I now see provision in NexusFileIO.cpp .

This is definitely working in recent Mantid releases, as well as #9448, #9449, and #9450.
