Hi,
i have a request..

Could it be possible to add support for different args/typ/style files for
every single region?

Or is this alrady possible? I don't know how to make it in another way than
generating map for one region at time and chaning style/args everytime for
every single one.

I can't use the same TYP file because of the family-id and product-id.

But i think it would be a good feature to have, that could link different args
and style/typ files for every single region.

Dear user, currently the only way to achieve this is to generate each region in
a separate run. On the other hand, you can make this easier with command-line
version of the software.

I understand that. But how hard would it be to add it to the GUI?
The standard files could still be there, but if you want to customize you could
in some way through the GUI create and link to a custom args files where you
could add a different style etc. ?

I really like the GUI of osm2garmin and would love to see some more
functions/tweaks to add to the maps. mkgmap is a jungle without a gui.

Possibly the easiest way would be to allow a specific region's parameters file
to be created.

The idea is to support existence of a file named <regionaname>.args which, if
exists, will override the global osm2img.args for the region. When the feature
will be implemented, you can simply copy your osm2img.args to e.g. ohio.args
and edit it according to your needs. Would you like such a solution?
