玩家可以選擇和電腦玩，或者和2P玩。可供選擇的隊伍有16支，球隊能力上有細微差別。總體來説，在選擇球隊畫面上，左邊的球隊，能力強於右邊，單人玩通關時，遊戲採用密碼接關。

遊戲中，在靠近大禁區線時，防守一方，會自動切換成門將控制，門將必需手動控制，守門的水平，也一定的體現了操作者的水準。遊戲沒有犯規以及紅黃牌，門將在撲球倒地後，有爬起身的僵直時間，所以，補射是常見的得分手段。
